In this crucial role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of various purpose built race cars, car towing vehicles/equipment, and mechanic shop machinery. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, natural leadership qualities, be self-driven, and have a commitment to safety and professionalism on and off the race track. Duties: *Strong time management to ensure timely and effective repairs. *Perform diagnostic tests using standard tools to correctly identify mechanical issues. *Help develop and implement maintenance schedules to maintain and prevent towing equipment failures. *Perform weekly shop cleaning procedures as described in the shop manual. *Train and mentor junior mechanics and race-day contractors on best practices for repair and maintenance. *Maintain timely and accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory of parts. *Request purchase orders from various vendors for needed parts. *Ensure compliance with team safety regulations and race track policies during all operations. *Drive race car trailer to designated racing or promotional events. Requirements: *Proven experience as a mechanic with a strong understanding of mechanical systems. Volkswagen AG experience preferred. *Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, including an ohmmeter. *Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. *Natural leadership capabilities. *Effective and professional communication skills for collaboration with team members and outside vendors. *Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks. *High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications in mechanics or related fields are a plus. I am looking for a flooring installer or a helper with experience in flooring. You must be able to lay Vinly plank and SPC flooring and grout ceramic tile. I have all the tools I just need someone to come that knows how to do flooring.
