As an authorized AeroBarrier Installer the company markets these superior air sealing services for both residential, commercial, and industrial consumers of building projects within Southern New Hampshire, Northern Massachusetts, and Southern Maine, including Portsmouth, Manchester, Essex, and York. JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a laborer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting and learning insulation techniques from a team of insulation installers and crew leads. This role requires an individual who has ability to lift 50lbs or more,, an understanding of various insulation materials and installation techniques, and a commitment to safety and quality. The successful candidate will possess a combination of computer programing knowledge, analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assisting insulation installers, crew leads, etc. Set up and break down of job sites. Cleaning work space areas, trucks etc. CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE Responsible for developing and maintaining a working knowledge of the services provided by NAS. Will successfully apply their understanding to addressing customer needs, improving customer journeys, and ensuring consistent brand experiences for all NAS entities. PROJECT ASSISTANCE Ability to communicate with other site personnel, such as contractors and subcontractors. INSULATION INSTALLATION Responsible for the efficient install of insulation materials including batts, spray foam, and blown-in insulation in walls, floors, and attics. OPERATIONAL SUPPORT Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit. Provide operational support for the company as required or requested by other appropriate supervisors and/or administrators. QUALIFICATIONS: KNOWLEDGE Educational Background & Experience: High School Diploma or GED Required. Experience in the weatherization/ insulation industry or a related field. Certifications: Lead Paint RRP Certification* helpful but not required Fork Lift Operator * helpful but not required OSHA 10 Certification * helpful but not required DOT Medical Card *If you do not have one, we will assist you in getting it. Technical Knowledge: Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Intermediate knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc.) Basic use of project management software and tools. Understanding of local building codes and safety regulations related to insulation installation. Basic knowledge of various insulation types (e.g., fiberglass, foam, cellulose) and installation techniques. SKILLS Familiarity with different types of insulation materials (e.g., fiberglass, spray foam, cellulose, rigid board) and their respective applications. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to follow instructions and ask questions to avoid miscommunications. Time management and organizational skills. Strong customer service and client management skills. ABILITIES Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Ability to safely operate a company vehicle for travel to/from client sites.
