Bridgeman Underground Inc (BUI). Located in Williamsburg, Virginia. BUI is a busy year-round utility contractor specializing in large scale utility projects, both public and private. Placing sewer, water, and storm pipe. BUI is looking to expand our workforce by adding experienced skilled workers in the following positions. THIS IS A YEAR-ROUND PERMANENT JOB (NO LAYOFFS), THAT REQUIRES RELOCATION TO VIRGINIA. SOME TEMP HOUSING AND RELOCATION ASSISTANCE ARE AVAILABLE. Benefits include Health/Dental care, 401K with 50% company match, and Production Bonusses. • Pipe Foreman- Experienced in installing sewer, water, and storm drain. Must be capable of managing a 4-to-6-man crew. Must be physically capable of performing all tasks typically associated with utility installation to include but not limited to standing for extended periods of time, bending, squatting, able to climb ladders. Should be proficient at running excavator, loader dozers, compaction equipment as shooting grades/elevations, able to interpret plans, as well as setting up the laser for laying pipe. This is a Salary position 85K to 95K with company truck. • Main Line Excavator Operator- Experienced with excavating pipes to include sewer, water, and storm drain. Must be capable of excavating in a trench box and have extensive experience with installing utilities in a way that is compliant with OSHA Subpart P. Must be physically capable of performing all tasks typically associated with utility installation to include but not limited to standing for extended periods of time, bending, squatting, and able to climb ladders. This is an hourly position pay DOE $28-$32 per hour. • Backfill Excavator/Dozer Operator- Must have experienced backfilling behind a main line pipe to crew. Utility experience is required with sewer, water and storm pipe. Must be physically capable of performing all tasks typically associated with utility installation to include but not limited to standing for extended periods of time, bending, squatting, and able to climb ladders. This is an hourly position pay DOE $24-$28 per hour. • Lead Pipelayer- Experienced in installing sewer, water, and storm drain. We are looking for a turnkey pipelayer that can take the lead role in the trench. Must be physically capable of performing all tasks typically associated with utility installation to include but not limited to standing for extended periods of time, bending, squatting, and able to climb ladders.
