Weed removal. • Perform water and gas utility meter readings (monthly) for 163 units. • Light plumbing work to include water and sewer line repairs as needed • Must be able and willing to dig with a shovel to expose utility lines when the need arises • Some painting work as needed • Plow snow in winter using company pickup truck with plow attachment • Maintain public areas, clubhouse, storage rooms, pick up trash, clean streets, parking lots and dumpster areas • Dump runs for appliances, couches, etc • Be on call and available to respond to emergency water repairs or other utility emergencies. • Have a working knowledge of electrical systems • Have a working knowledge of natural gas systems • Follow verbal instructions from supervisor. • Good knowledge of interior & exterior building maintenance and cleaning. • Report potentially unsafe conditions; use safety equipment and materials properly.

POSITION SUMMARY The Maintenance Technician will report to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager and will assist in all aspects of maintenance for the community. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintaining the residential units, grounds, amenities, building exteriors, interiors, breezeways, curbs, leasing office, trash enclosures, parking lot, and other building and common areas.
