Position Overview We are seeking a Furniture Mover / Staging Assistant to join our team. This role involves assisting with the loading, unloading, transportation, and placement of furniture and accessories for staging projects. You will work closely with the staging team to ensure all inventory is handled with care and that properties are set up efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities • Safely load and unload furniture, artwork, rugs, and décor from our warehouse to staging locations. • Assist with the setup and breakdown of staging projects, including arranging furniture according to the designer’s plan. • Handle inventory with care to avoid damage during transport and installation. • Work with the staging team to ensure each property is completed on schedule. • Maintain a clean and organized truck/vehicle during transport. • Assist with warehouse organization, inventory movement, and furniture prep when needed. • Follow safety procedures for lifting, carrying, and moving large or heavy items. Qualifications • Prior moving, delivery, or warehouse experience preferred (but not required). • Ability to lift and carry furniture and heavy items (up to 75 lbs) safely. • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. • Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team. • Valid driver’s license preferred (bonus if able to drive a box truck). Schedule & Compensation • Part-time or project-based, with potential for full-time hours during busy seasons. • Flexible schedule depending on staging projects.
