🛠️ WE'RE HIRING: IN-HOUSE MECHANIC Location: East Providence, Rhode Island Company: D3, Inc – High-Volume Print & Mail Outsourcing Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site | Immediate Start ________________________________________ The Job: We are looking for a battle-tested, hands-on, do-it-right-the-first-time mechanic to keep our machines humming and our operation rolling. If you can troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, and outsmart complex production equipment (especially Pitney Bowes equipment), we want you. ________________________________________ What You’ll Handle: 1. Print and Mail Machinery: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair folder/inserters, high-speed printers, bindery equipment, conveyors, and especially Pitney Bowes systems. 2. Electrical Repairs: Diagnose and repair motors, sensors, control panels, and electrical components tied to production equipment. 3. Carpentry Work: Repair and build workbenches, enclosures, fixtures, and facility enhancements. 4. Plumbing Duties: Keep our systems leak-free, functional, and up to code — breakroom to backflow. 5. Welding & Fabrication: Custom brackets, guards, machine frames — if it needs to be built or reinforced, you're the go-to. 6. Facility Maintenance: Anything that squeaks, leaks, breaks, jams, or sparks — it’s yours to repair ________________________________________ Your Toolkit Should Include: 1. 5+ years of industrial or production mechanic experience 2. Hands-on work with equipment…..Pitney Bowes mailing systems ( a benefit ) 3. Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, diagnostics, and safety 4. Carpentry, plumbing, and welding/fabrication chops 5.
