They unload orders according to customer specifications with the help of various delivery equipment, including truck-mounted forklifts. We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Mobile Car Mechanic/Parts Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential light duty mobile mechanic services and roadside assistance services, including tire changes, fuel delivery, lock-out services, jump starts, and battery installations, as well as advising customers parts needed for their vehicle. This role does not involve towing vehicles or performing heavy mechanical work. You will get paid per call completed and commissions for parts sold. You will be an Independent Contractor and your vehicle will be your mobile office. Key Responsibilities: - Respond promptly to service calls and arrive at the customer's location in a timely manner. - Change flat tires, install spare tires for customers and fix tires if possible. - Deliver fuel to customers who have run out of gas. - Assist customers who are locked out of their vehicles by unlocking car doors. - Provide jump-start services for vehicles with dead batteries. - Install new batteries for customers whose batteries have died. - Advise customers the need of new parts for vehicle, as you will be making great commissions. - Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle with all necessary tools and equipment. - Ensure all services are performed in a safe and professional manner. - Communicate effectively with customers, providing them with updates and estimated arrival times. - Document all service calls and complete required paperwork accurately. - Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
