We are currently seeking long-term employees for painter & maintenance positions. You will be preparing vacant apartments for new tenants and performing standard repairs to the apartments and grounds. Responsibilities include- Maintenance repairs to all vacant and occupied apartments. Must have basic carpentry skills which include but is not limited to hanging sheetrock, painting of the interior, plumbing knowledge, laying plank/vinyl flooring, etc. Prior experience required. Must be dependable, on time daily and have good work ethic. Must be professional at all times with other employees and residents. Must have valid driver’s license, high school diploma, problem solving skills and must be able to pass drug test and background check. Full-Time, Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. Starting Pay is $15.00 per hour.

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Property Preservation Specialists to maintain REO and vacant properties. The ideal individual will be responsible for inspections, initial services, and recurring maintenance and ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to required standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections and property maintenance (e.g., Lock work, Yard care, Cleaning, Snow removal, Winterization, Repair, Maintenance). Secure vacant properties by changing locks, boarding windows, and addressing safety hazards. Take clear and timestamped before/after photos of all work completed. Maintain open communication with the coordination team regarding job status and issues. Handle emergency work orders, such as securing broken windows or water leaks. Requirements: Experience in property preservation, or field services preferred. Basic tools and equipment required (e.g., lawnmower, drill, smartphone or tablet for photos). Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete work independently. Strong time management and problem-solving skills. Must be able to pass background checks. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with property preservation platforms (e.g., PPW, Inspector Aide, or EZ Inspections etc.). Knowledge of preservation guidelines. This is a 1099 no benefits. We need Iowa area, Des Moines and surrounding areas.
