About UPSI: United Property Services Inc. (UPSI) is building a solid foundation for the future and seeking qualified team members to help make it happen. We deliver maintenance and property support services to apartment communities and property management companies. We are looking for an experienced, results-driven Operations Lead to take charge, mentor, and develop entry-level field staff into Team Leads and Team Managers—setting the standard for excellence while positioning UPSI to become an employee-owned company. Key Responsibilities: -Lead, manage, and develop team members across multiple departments to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety. -Mentor and train staff, building a culture of accountability, reliability, and high performance. -Collaborate with management to implement processes, solve challenges, and drive continuous improvement. -Oversee jobs and projects to ensure deadlines, quality standards, and client expectations are consistently met. -Act as the liaison between field staff and management, demonstrating ownership and strategic thinking in all decisions. Requirements: -Proven experience in property services, facilities management, or a related operational leadership role. -Strong adaptability, reliability, and organizational skills. -Ability to lead diverse teams and motivate staff to meet and exceed expectations. -Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. -Minimum age 25 (auto insurance requirement). -Valid CA driver’s license for roles involving driving. -Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs. as needed. *Willingness to learn our work from the ground up. You cannot train, mentor, and refine processes effectively if you don’t know the work yourself (possibly up to 90 days)* -Flexibility to handle tough, hands-on jobs—sometimes hot, dirty, and physically demanding.
