RANCH AND GARDEN WORK 10-20 hours/week. We have a ten-acre farm just south of Eugene. We need some farm and garden help on a flexible basis. Paying up to $20 per hour based on skill. SAMPLE TASKS: • LANDSCAPING: Gardening, weeding, pruning, vegetable, flowers, lawns. • FIREWOOD: Cutting and stacking. • CLEARING: Collecting and cutting fallen trees. • FENCES: Installing fenceposts, gates, fencing. • ANIMALS: Cleaning goat and chicken stalls. • GASOLINE TOOLS: Chainsaws, weed whackers, sit-on lawn mowers. We prefer candidates take initiatives and work without much supervision or instruction. BONUS SKILL: Knowledge of operating a diesel farm tractor with loader bucket, change PTO attachments, operating of PTO tractor augers, changing oil and general servicing. (We have a 30hp Kubota tractor, see photo.) FLEXIBILITY: We offer flexible hours agreed at the start of each week. Cell phone required to coordinate. You clock in/out and post off/on lunch breaks on your cellphone. Preference for applicants with high experience, and that have a short commute to Pleasant Hill / Goshen (near exit 188 on I-5). No drugs, vaping or smoking on the job. Clean police record. STARTING WAGES: $15-$20/hour paid cash (no deductions). The upper wage depends on skill level. LOCATION: We are in Pleasant Hill (southeast of Eugene), four minutes from Interstate 5 on Highway 58 (Exit 188). There is no public transportation near our farm, so you need your own car.
