Experienced Concrete Worker Needed ASAP – Flatwork, Foundations Pay: $28.00/hour Start Date: Monday, 9/15 or ASAP Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (overtime as needed) Position Type: Temp-to-Hire Work Radius: Seymour, WI and then move to other sites within 35 miles (including Appleton and Green Bay areas) Job Description: Qualified candidates will assist with all aspects of concrete construction, including formwork, rebar tying, pouring, raking, and stripping forms. This role requires a minimum of 4 years of commercial concrete experience. Key Responsibilities: Set and strip forms for flatwork, foundations Tie rebar and install reinforcement according to project specs Assist with concrete pours: raking, screeding, vibrating, spreading, and basic hand finishing Transport, load, and organize materials such as rebar, form panels, and tools Maintain a clean and safe job site Collaborate with a crew under the direction of concrete finishers and foremen Requirements: Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial concrete (flatwork, foundations) Reliable transportation and basic concrete hand tools Authorized to work in the U.S. Willing to travel to job sites within 35 miles of Seymour (including Appleton and Green Bay) Job requires proper use of PPE: hard hat, steel-toe boots, gloves, and safety glasses We are an Equal Opportunity Employer Interested? Your main responsibilities will be looking at new jobs, picking up material/ladders and delivering from one job to another, checking the bigger deliveries on job sites, organizing material on site/trash and making sure the jobs are completed. When everything is caught up, you can help out my insulators and get some training on site. I can provide tie-down straps for you if you don’t have any in your truck. (OSHA 10/aerial lift) 3. Send a resume if you have one. If not, briefly explain your work experience. You will need work boots, work pants, hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses and tool pouch. The tools you will need to bring are a pair of scissors and channel locks. Most people have those lying around somewhere. I will provide you with the knife needed. I can provide all of the other items listed if you don’t have them. The work on site is done off an 8’ - 12’ ladder or scissor lifts. You are not required to be lift certified, but I will get you certified. Hours can vary Monday-Friday 5 am - 5:30 pm. Sometimes we do work Saturdays when we are way behind. You must be physically able to lift 125 pounds, climb up and down ladders, kneel down and be on your feet for 8 hours a day.
