Responsibilities and Duties: The Powder Coater position has the responsibility assisting SDPPC in a variety of functions. Including but not limited to: • Primary responsibility is to apply various electrostatic coating systems to products. • Coating’s systems include but not limited to; polyester, epoxies, FBE, pipe coating and thermos plastics. • Cleaning and maintaining of powder equipment. • Sanding, masking, and hanging product. • Moving racks • General Housekeeping as required • Overtime and Saturdays are expected as workload dictates. Skills and Qualifications: • Minimum 1 Year Powder Coat Painting Experience Required. • Relevant experience operating powder coating equipment or training in a related vocational program. • Proven ability to understand work orders and properly coat parts according to specifications. • Prove strong work ethic and consistent on time attendance. • Proven ability to recommend process improvements. • Demonstrate ability to maintain organization and safety. • Proven ability to consistently meet production schedules.
