This is a contract-based position for an editor who can deliver a high-quality manuscript by September 15, 2025. This is a remote writing contract position. The ideal candidate will have a background in creative writing, journalism or online content creation and a working knowledge of WordPress and AP Style. An excellent command of English grammar, punctuation and syntax is a must. SevenPonds is not your usual website. We cover topics that, in many ways, are still taboo in our society -- subjects like death and dying, aging, life-limiting illness, grief and loss. For that reason, we seek out writers who have some special insight into end of life, whether through personal experience or through their work. Writing skill and expertise are important to us.
