What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
• Provide first-level technical support to our clients via phone, email, and remote tools, resolving common IT issues.
• Assist with troubleshooting hardware and software problems (e.g., desktops, laptops, printers, common business applications).
• Help set up and configure new user accounts, workstations, and peripherals.
• Document support interactions, solutions, and procedures accurately in our ticketing system.
• Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or engineers when necessary, learning from their expertise.
• Assist with network troubleshooting, patching, and basic server maintenance tasks under supervision.
• Participate in special IT projects as assigned, contributing to team initiatives.
• Learn and adhere to IT best practices, security protocols, and company procedures.
What We're Looking For (Qualifications):
• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; OR equivalent practical experience from personal projects, certifications, or self-study.
• Certifications : CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar entry-level IT certifications are a significant advantage.
• Technical Aptitude: A genuine interest in technology and a basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows), and common software applications.
• Problem-Solving Skills: An ability to think critically, troubleshoot logically, and find solutions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a patient and professional demeanor. You'll be interacting directly with clients!
• Customer Service Focus: A strong desire to help others and provide exceptional service.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
