Diversity and inclusion are the only paths that allow forward progress, and our success as a company stems from that philosophy.  ABOUT THE ROLE  Under the general supervision of the management, but reporting directly to the maintenance supervisor, the technician is the primary staff person responsible for repairs and maintenance of the work equipment and appliances in both the common areas of the condominium and in the individual owner units, to the end that the need for outside service people is minimized and the residents needs are better served and with minimum delay. The technician's duties also extend to being the backup to the maintenance supervisor in the operation, repairs, and maintenance of the heating and air conditioning equipment of the building. Requirements Specific Requirements Entry-level maintenance skills such as: Light plumbing (unclogging drains, replacing faucets or toilet flappers) Basic electrical work (changing light bulbs) Drywall patching and painting Basic carpentry (repairing door hinges, using a drill) HVAC filter replacement Lock and doorknob repair/replacement  Performing inspections (checking fire extinguishers, smoke detectors) Cleaning and maintaining common areas or equipment Key Requirements  Willingness to be on-call or respond to after-hours emergencies  Reliable attendance and communication  Teamwork Customer service oriented  Additional requirements Move-in/Move-Out Support Prepare the building for resident move-ins and move-outs, including installing elevator padding and ensuring hallways are clear and accessible.  Assist in directing movers and maintaining order during large deliveries or transitions.  Operate and monitor freight elevator as needed during move-related activities. Vendor & Contractor Coordination Greet, direct, and escort contractors and vendors to and from appropriate work areas within the building.  Operate the freight elevator during vendor visits to ensure safe and efficient movement. This is a hands-on shop position where you’ll be fabricating and installing custom equipment, wiring electrical systems, and keeping our trucks ready for any job. Responsibilities • Fabricate custom truck accessories (ladder racks, vice stands, storage solutions, etc.) • Operate shop equipment: ironworker, press brake, plasma table, bandsaw • Wire and install GPS units, strobe/flood/tail lights, and other 12V components • Install inverters, fuel transfer pumps, air compressors, and hose reels • Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards • Work with the team to problem-solve and complete projects on time Qualifications Required: • Fabrication or metalworking experience • Basic wiring/electrical knowledge (12V systems) • Strong work ethic, reliability, and safety awareness Preferred: • MIG welding experience • Previous fleet/truck upfitting experience
