We are seeking a Porter/Groundskeeper to work with our maintenance team at Hartland Station – a 131-unit multifamily community located in Atlanta, GA. What are we looking for? We are looking for a Porter/Groundskeeper that possesses high energy and good communication paired with outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate for this position will have the ability to embrace a shared responsibility environment and work with a diverse group of people while keeping a strong sense of ownership attitude. What are my responsibilities as a Wendover Porter? Responsibilities You will be responsible for the meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, common areas, parking lot/garage, and other community buildings You will remove trash from office areas and community perimeter daily and from trash chutes to compactor daily or more You will assist in the preparation of make-ready units, including trash removal from vacant apartments prior to makeready You will assist the Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager and/or perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner You will assist in the cleaning of available apartments and or models You will assist in the troubleshooting/repair of mechanical, carpentry, and electrical problems You will report any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor You will assist with hazardous weather problems, fires, floods, etc. You will assist with the overall organization and cleanliness of work areas and maintenance shops ***This job description is not an all-inclusive list of functions and tasks. Job functions may be added, deleted, or modified at any time by management team.***- Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience is preferred Light carpentry, drywall repair, and texture; painting Computer literacy is a plus but not required Ability to multi-task Outstanding customer service and embracing a shared responsibility environment Must be fully vaccinated and be able to provide documentation upon hire or be able to provide a completed request for a medical or religious accommodation What are the Working Conditions/Environment/Physical Demands of this position? Porter/Groundskeeper position is a full-time position; may be called upon to work after hours and on weekends. A rotating on-call schedule may be required Working conditions will be outside as well as indoors Physical demands will require but not be limited to the mobility to effectively complete job requirements Benefits In addition to good working conditions and competitive pay, we provide a plethora of supplemental benefits to all eligible associates.
