We are seeking a dynamic, experienced ladies cleaning attendant who knows what it takes to deliver anticipated, unforgettable service. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a team environment with a desire to excel by going above and beyond, providing exemplary service to members and guests. The Ladies Locker Room Attendant position is a full-time position with Club benefits. Schedule is normally Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday 5:30am - 2:00pm (Thursday, Friday off).
In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining exceptional overall cleanliness of the Ladies Locker Room, and other common areas. This position will provide efficient cleaning services for the Ladies Locker Room, which is occupied by members, guests and children. Passionate, caring service for our members, children and guests, with excellent cleaning protocol is required.
Essential requirements:
-Coordinate towel maintenance by maintaining ample supply of towels, removing soiled towels to laundry for washing and drying.
-Restock supplies on a daily basis, soaps, paper products, toiletries.
-Clean shower stalls, sinks, and toilets on a daily basis.
-Clean all carpets and tile floors on a daily basis.
-Ensure all House & Beach Rules are being followed in the locker room.
-Return all lost & found items to Security.
-Report all maintenance issues to Supervisor in a timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
-At least 1 year of previous cleaning or housekeeping in a similar setting: club, hotel, spa, school, fitness center required.
-Consistent work history.
-Excellent team player and communicator.
-Ability to effectively communicate in English in both written and oral forms.
-High level of professional appearance and demeanor.
-Excellent Communication with team and supervisor in a timely manner.
-Excellent Customer Service skills required.
-Ability to follow directions well, use sound judgment and stay organized.
-High School diploma or equivalent.
Physical Demands:
-Able to walk and stand for long hours, bending, lifting and reaching over.
-Ability to use hands, fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
-Ability to reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, talk or hear.
-Occasionally lift and or move up to 40 lbs.
-Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
-Satisfactory auditory abilities are required.
Environmental Factors:
-Employee is exposed to working with cleaning detergents, soaps, disinfectants, and chemicals required to clean the Locker Room, laundry and other areas.
-Employee is exposed to working in an indoor and outdoor environmental in variable conditions in high temperatures, and cold temperatures.
Work Hours and Status:
This position is a Full-time hourly, non-exempt position with work schedule as noted above. Hours and days may vary during summer season. Weekends and some holidays required.
