Job description: Our shop is in immediate need for a Quality Control Inspector to Perform routine visual and dimensional inspection and check parts for surface defects, shifts, contours, cleaning, chipping, grinding, blowholes, etc., using standard and prescribed methods, procedures and gauging devices Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain facility quality systems • Oversee painting processes and safety • Maintain systems for checking and verifying process compliance • Ensure effective training in quality control • Performs inspections of raw materials and assemblies made to blueprint • Ensures precise conformance to specifications, tolerances, and workmanship standards • Documents, maintains and records inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into quality database • Identification and maintenance of non-conforming product. • Report findings of quality control audit to the manager.
