Senior Javascript Engineer

UserEvidence is a SaaS platform that unlocks stories from happy customers, and automatically creates a library of beautiful content assets. We are the only platform purpose-built to unlock customer love at scale. Credibility and noise are huge issues in B2B marketing and sales. We believe companies can sell a lot more when they let their customers do the talking, and show real-life evidence and feedback from their users. We're looking for a Senior JavaScript Engineer with strong experience in Node.js (Express) and React. You'll play a key part in shaping our backend services, improving code quality, and delivering new features across our product roadmap. What You’ll Do Collaborate closely with product and design Evolve our Express.js backend, improving architecture and best practices Help increase automated test coverage across the codebase Contribute to the React frontend and ensure cohesive end-to-end functionality Lead by example: write clean, maintainable code and perform thoughtful code reviews Participate actively in the team by sharing knowledge, and contributing to collaborative problem-solving Contribute to sprint planning, architecture decisions, and roadmap execution Requirements 5+ years of professional JavaScript experience Strong expertise in Node.js / Express Solid experience with React on the frontend Experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.) A track record of technical leadership and mentoring developers Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote startup environment Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset Bonus: Located in the Greater Seattle area with ability to work from our Bellevue office occasionally (remote candidates are also welcome) Benefits Competitive salary, quarterly performance bonuses, and meaningful equity Company-sponsored 401(k) program Remote role with annual company off-site and team meetup trips $4k equipment budget Health, dental, and vision insurance for you and any dependents Incredible training and career growth opportunity Unlimited PTO (the kind you’re encouraged to take) Extremely friendly, inclusive, human-first team culture Incredible team with a great blend of hustle, productivity, and fun
