Golf Pro Shop Assistant Manager plays a critical role in providing our members and guests with an exceptional golf experience. If you have the customer service skills, we are willing to train you for this new role. Key Areas of Responsibilities Include: • Social media utilization. • Provide excellent customer service by responding to members’ and guests’ inquiries in a courteous manner, providing information, and resolving complaints in an efficient and timely manner. • Welcome members and guests while utilizing club software to assist members in making and changing tee time reservations and tournament registrations. • Assist the General Manager with overseeing the Club House and Club events. • Solicit events; assist with event management and conduct group outings. • Organize, monitor and maintain adequate Golf Shop inventories. • Accurately process shop merchandise purchases and arrange merchandise displays to optimize the space and visibility of products. • Operate within and applying the policies and standards of the Club. • Participate in interviewing, training, supervising and scheduling staff members. • Team player willing to pitch in where needed. • Beverage Cart duties available. Experience/Qualifications: • Experience working in a golf pro shop is preferred. • Proficient in use of computers, golf-related software and social media • Previous customer service & social media experience is preferred. • Team player. • Knowledge of the game of golf is useful. • Sense of humor is a must.
