Description

Job description: Job Summary: Do you dream of shiny cars, soapy foam, and the sweet smell of automobile fragrances? Do you want to continue your education and pursue professional development without having to repay a school loan? We’re looking for someone to join our elite team of car-wash champions — someone brave enough to face the occasional water splash (but most of that comes from Mother Nature), unafraid of fast-paced work (yup – we wash nearly 1,200 vehicles a day), and willing to cheerfully wave and engage customers with Aloha spirit! Responsibilities: Operate high-tech car wash equipment (a.k.a. buttons, switches, and sometimes yelling “turn it off!”). Politely guide customers into the wash tunnel and on to our belt — bonus points if you do it safely. Give out free smiles (and our complimentary WypAll blue towels). Be prepared to discuss overcast weather forecasts but assure everyone that it’s still a good day for a car wash. Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods while looking cool in reflective safety gear. Must speak fluent "car owner": phrases like “make my baby shine”, “can you get the bugs off?”, and our ever-popular, “lose the bird poop”. Learn to speak a new language: “Make It Happen-speak”. We also allow “Only the BEST, Nothing Less” slang. Strong sense of humor and tolerance for people who think honking or getting loud will make the line go faster. This is a family program, so we always expect our family to be dressed for success in their full uniforms. An intense urge to always be on time and present for your scheduled shift. Bring that can-do attitude and positive mojo – come in smiling and happy. You live on a paradise island for Pete’s sake! Perks: Free car washes (so your ride is ). Loan assistance from CarWash808 Express – up to $5,250 per year! College tuition assistance – up to $750 per semester. Get paid for referring applicants almost as good as you – $250 the first month and $100 every month thereafter for 1 year (as long as you both remain in good standing). Unlimited access to water — great for hot days because we are all about hydration! Making new friends with some cool peeps. We provide all the gear and equipment – we just require you to model it for us. Built-in cardio workout (it’s basically a gym membership that pays you). The satisfying feeling of turning dirty cars into rolling works of art – all without breaking a sweat or straining a muscle. Meal discounts at Pau Hana Express for the best homemade bentos and musubi on the island! A Christmas bash that will make you wonder why you don’t drive a Bentley. Yea, that’s right – we have more perks than requirements!
