Starland School Of Music in Alameda has been offering quality music lessons for over 30 years to folks of all ages. We are also a retail facility that sells musical instruments and accessories to the general public and our students. The Customer Service Team Member has front line responsibility for creating a warm, friendly environment while effectively and successfully satisfying our customer's needs with our music products. With respect to the school, you will be directly involved in enrolling students, scheduling and working with our excellent group of professional music teachers in ensuring that our students, teachers and Starland are all successful. With respect to the retail store, you will assist with sales, customer service, display and inventory. Requirements: While we are not set on a particular set of qualifications, the successful candidate will likely have a mix of the following: - You have customer service experience....all the better if it is in a retail or school setting. - You generally have a positive attitude and self-starter mentality. - You likely have at least some college education (College Student and/or music student a plus) - You are computer savvy and have experience with POS software. - You enjoy learning, and are open to feedback and growth. - You likely love music and believe that it is a fundamental and vital experience. You may play an instrument yourself, or want to learn. - You are available for weekday evening shifts, and some Saturdays If you're looking for a job to earn a few bucks with the least amount of effort, this is not the right job for you. We're a pet waste management company looking to hire field technicians to visit and clean up dog poop from our customer's yards on a regular basis. We also provide additional services such as yard deodorizing and sanitizing and litter box exchange services to name just a few. These products/services will be done for customers who’ve signed up for that particular service. This job is performed mostly independently in the field with multiple (+/- 15 - 20) stops per route. Routes are established and the candidate will normally be visiting the same clients day-to-day/week-to-week. We provide branded company vehicles, all necessary tools/products, a mobile app (specific to the pet waste management industry) for daily routes/jobs, messaging, and GPS to easily locate each stop. We're currently hiring for a Part-Time (15-35 hours/week) positions. Must have morning/afternoon availability as our workdays start between 7-8 am and usually end early to mid-afternoon depending on the route. Some Saturdays may be required. You can expect about a 5-7 hour workday each day. Compensation starts at $21/hour plus tips and additional performance-based bonuses available. Required qualifications: Friendly and able to provide great customer service. (This is mostly an independent position, but there will be times when you need to interact with customers.) We are looking for someone who is available to work Woodstock Market on Sundays for the month of October and be available to work as a back up rep for Saturdays and Sundays for winter markets.
