As an Implementation Specialist, you'll play a critical role in onboarding new customers, ensuring a seamless transition to our platform, and supporting long-term success. You'll work hands-on with growers, farm managers, and agronomy teams to configure systems, integrate data, and train stakeholders—all while delivering a high-touch, consultative experience. This is a client-facing role that blends technical know-how, agricultural domain expertise, and excellent project management skills. This role will be working closely with Sales, Customer Success and Product teams to help identify requirements and influence the product roadmap. This role will focus on our Agworld FMIS platform. What you will do: Onboarding & Training Lead end-to-end implementation and support of our platform for enterprise growers and/or agronomy teams across the West Coast. Understand client requirements and business processes to tailor our system according to their needs. Transfer processes and data from existing systems to our platform. Identify and resolve technical issues that may arise during implementation. Serve as the primary point of contact during the onboarding phase; coordinate internal teams to meet client-specific needs. Conduct on-site and virtual client engagements, including discovery sessions, workflow mapping, training, and go-live support. Customer Insights & Continuous Improvement Monitor client progress, troubleshoot issues, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement during and after rollout. Maintain detailed documentation of each implementation project, including timelines, milestones, and feedback. Help refine and improve implementation processes based on customer feedback and internal learnings. Support adoption, retention, and expansion by ensuring a successful onboarding experience. Create and maintain documentation for the system to help improve the customer experience long term. Requirements We want you to succeed, so you will need: 3+ years of experience working with industry tools for implementation and onboarding Deep familiarity with commercial agriculture, especially permanent crops or high-value row crops Strong understanding of farm operations, agronomy, and/or precision agriculture technology Excellent communication, project management, and interpersonal skills to understand customers’ needs Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to customer sites throughout the West Coast Comfortable working independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, evolving environment Preferred: Bilingual in English and Spanish Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Ag Business, Information Technology or a highly related field Familiarity with integrations (e.g., APIs, data ingestion from sensors, weather, or equipment platforms) Prior experience working with ERP systems, farm management software, or GIS tools Salary range: $78,000 to $85,000 per year Please note that the base pay offered may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and experience, geographic location, as well as business and organizational needs.
