The Position Our bank client is seeking to fill an AVP Compliance Officer role in the Des Plaines, IL area. The position is responsible for ensuring that our bank operates in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance programs, conducting risk assessments, and providing guidance to the business units.  This is a “hands on” position , working with all functional areas within the bank. The opportunity has a generous salary of up to $120K and a benefits package.  (This is not a remote position). AVP Compliance Officer responsibilities include: Develop, implement, and maintain the bank’s compliance programs. Conduct regular risk assessments and compliance audits. Monitor and report on compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide guidance and training to business units on compliance matters. Investigate and resolve compliance issues and complaints. Prepare and submit compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies. Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations affecting the bank’s operations. Who Are You?
