The Position Our bank client is seeking to fill a BSA Compliance Analyst role in the Miami, FL area. The position is responsible for performing BSA/AML activity monitoring, analytics, and reporting. (This is not a remote position). BSA Analyst responsibilities include: Handle the more complex, higher risk customers and alert types. Perform and document sufficient KYC/CDD Information to effectively support alert resolution. Conduct a detailed review of alerted transactions to identify if activity is commensurate with customer relationship based on KYC/CDD information available.  Apply technical knowledge to accurately assess the transactional activity by identifying risks, patterns and trends that could be related to money laundering and terrorist financing. Utilize internal systems, databases available, and internet research to gather information needed to support analysis and draw conclusions related to transactional activity. Prepare a write-up that adequately supports conclusions as to “why” the activity is reasonable for the customer or provide recommendations to escalate potential suspicious activity (as needed). Adhere to confidential policies, code of ethics, and follow policies and procedures relative to BSA/AML laws and regulations and best practices. Address feedback received from QC functions and incorporate into future work products. Other duties as assigned by the Chief BSA/AML/OFAC Officer. Who Are You?
