Under general supervision, the building cleaner performs cleaning tasks and operates various types of cleaning equipment for assigned buildings. Duties Arrive on time and ready to perform shift duties. Cleaning offices/work areas, emptying trash and replacing liners, cleaning windows/windowsills. Vacuum, dust/sweep, and mop floors and stairs. Clean and maintain supplies in restrooms - ensure that facilities are sanitary and stocked for use by clients. Maintain clean and orderly janitorial closets. Requirements Must be 18 years old and successfully pass a background check. Must be reliable, willing to work at a fast pace, and very detailed. Commercial Cleaning experience a plus. Ability to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor’s directions. Follow building or customer-specific protocols. HS Diploma or GED. The physical requirements of this position include walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and repeating cleaning motions; utilizing cleaning equipment and supplies; lifting up to 35 lbs. As a Technician, you’ll be an integral part of our team, supporting our client base from the ground level. Communicate with site contact before, during, and after completion of work, and retrieve customer endorsement on work order. Transport and set-up water-fed poles to clean windows of multi-story buildings, and subsequent breakdown of equipment. Effectively clean up after each job to ensure there is no residue or dirt left behind. Ensure that the company vehicle is clean, maintained, and adequately stocked with window cleaning supplies at all times. Attend weekly safety meetings. Who You Are You have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. You have reliable transportation to/from work and job sites. You have a clean-cut appearance and able to adhere to our dress code. You are able to lift up to 60lbs. You are able to scale and utilize ladders from 5ft to 40ft in height (safety training provided). You are able to work both indoors and outdoors during variable weather conditions. You have excellent time-management skills. You adhere to high ethical standard. You work well in a team environment. You are professional with interpersonal and communication skills. The Janitorial Supervisor is responsible for managing all janitorial staff and services. The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations, creating schedules, and managing the staff, and ensuring all janitorial services are being completed to the highest standards. This position requires someone with excellent organizational skills and an attention to detail.Requirements Janitorial Supervisor Responsibilities:  Assigning janitorial duties to staff and regularly inspecting their work to ensure that established standards are met.  Issuing cleaning supplies and equipment to janitorial staff as needed.  Taking inventory of all cleaning supplies and equipment and informing management when supplies are depleted.  Assisting with the screening and hiring of new job applicants.  Providing training and guidance to janitorial staff.  Resolving conflicts between janitorial staff in an efficient manner.  Attending meetings and in-service training sessions as required.  Performing all janitorial duties necessary in instances of staff shortages.
