Job Summary: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of our facility. The Janitor will be responsible for routine cleaning, sanitation, and minor maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for all employees, visitors, and clients. Key Responsibilities: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors in hallways, offices, restrooms, and common areas Clean and disinfect restrooms, replenish supplies (soap, toilet paper, paper towels) Empty trash and recycling containers and transport waste to designated disposal areas Dust furniture, fixtures, window sills, and surfaces Clean glass surfaces, including windows and doors Perform basic maintenance duties such as changing light bulbs and reporting repair needs Restock cleaning supplies and report inventory needs Lock and unlock doors and secure buildings as required Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or maintenance work is a plus Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment (e.g., vacuums, buffers) Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks Strong attention to detail and time management skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends if needed Benefits Competitive hourly wage Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Uniforms and equipment provided Training and opportunities for advancement
