This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 is powered by a 302ci DZ code V8 (the original) linked to a four-speed Muncie manual transmission (original) and a Positraction differential (also original). It is equipped with a black vinyl roof cover, a cowl induction hood, front and rear spoilers, a center console, power-assisted front disc brakes, and 15″ Rally wheels. This original Z/28 is offered with a Data Analysis Report from Jerry MacNeish’s Camaro Hi-Performance. Partial-VIN photos of block and transmission are attached. The body left the factory finished in Daytona Yellow with a black vinyl roof, and was repainted Daytona yellow in October 2024 following replacement of the quarter panels and the tail panel. It is now rust-free and treated with an anti-rust agent. The engine bay has been returned to OEM specs and finishes, correct hoses, spark plug wires, etc. A Pertonix ignition kit was added for better starts and timing. It sounds and run great! The 15″ Rally wheels are mounted with reproduction E70-15 Goodyear Wide Tread GT tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl. Interior highlights include a like-new original headliner and carpets, a center console, HURST shifter, and woodgrain trim. The two-spoke steering wheel has woodgrain trim and frames a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer. Gauges for fuel level, battery voltage, coolant temperature, and oil pressure are mounted at the front of the center console. The 302ci V8 was factory-rated at 290 horsepower but actually produces 370+HP at high RPMs. This is a high-revving engine.
