Henderson Books in downtown Bellingham needs a friendly, reliable and knowledgeable person for a full-time position. Bookselling experience is not necessary but prior retail experience is helpful. Lots of experience as a reader of books is a must. Employees must have the ability to lift and carry 50 pounds. Employees must be able and willing to climb tall ladders (carefully and safely). Shift available is Wednesday thru Sunday (38 hrs). This job is not appropriate for current students and the hours are not negotiable. Do you have a lot of experience working the eBay site - listing, not buying:)… Or, not much at all but learn very quickly, types/spells well, and can work at a desk for an extended period of time with no physical issues? We are a smaller family owned eBay company that has been part of the eBay community since 2000. We have a very good reputation with eBay itself and our buyers/customers. It’s very important for us to keep that reputation which leads me to explain why we are looking for that right person to join our small family team. We are looking for an individual who can work independently and in a small group setting. One that can do several different tasks during the day which would include packaging items to be shipped out, answering eBay questions throughout the day, pricing, and listing new items on the eBay platform. Mostly listing items on eBay. The most important attributes we are looking for is a great/friendly outgoing attitude, honesty, reliability, and trust. If you don’t have “all” of those, please don’t apply as those are must haves for this position we are offering. Also, we have a very drama-free/drug-free work place. Starting wage will be $25.00/hr. If you have quite a bit of experience with eBay, we’ll talk. We do offer quarterly bonuses if goals are met, sick time, and vacation. For that right person that shows that they learn quickly and can deliver results with few errors, pay raises will come sooner than later. We need someone to work 36 hours/week (9 hours/day), Monday through Thursday (Fri-Sun OFF) and show up each day with a smile and ready to enjoy the day. We will give you that too.
