Calling all food lovers! Stonehouse Olive Oil is looking for PT sales staff at our Ferry Building store! We are looking for 2 shifts per week. (13.5 hours) Must be available on Saturdays (9:15-5:15) and Tuesdays (12:15-6:15). Our shop is located in the beautiful SF Ferry Building. We are seeking detail-oriented, dependable individuals who love food and enjoy interacting with customers, including both loyal locals and travelers. This is a dynamic, sales-focused retail job for a specialty product, so candidates need to enjoy interacting with customers, explaining how our products are made, and how to use and pair them, as well as making suggestions for other items/sizes to try in a friendly and helpful manner. We have been producing high quality California extra virgin olive oil for over 25 years, and also sell vinegar and spices. - We prefer people with sales/retail experience, but we provide training. - Must have an interest in learning and a love of food/cooking. Knowledge of farm-to-table farmer's market culture is helpful. - This is an active, supportive job in a great environment with a small team, loyal, repeat customers, and travelers. - Must be able to lift 35 lbs (help unload deliveries with cases of bottled oil) and move heavy furniture on wheels. Most cases only weigh 20 lbs. - Needs to enjoy giving samples of our products to customers and interacting. We are a wholesale auto parts exporter with 40+ years in business. We are looking for a dependable Export Dispatcher who is also strong in Accounts Receivable. Pay: $1,520 gross every two weeks (full-time, Monday–Friday). What to Expect in a Typical Week: This is a steady office position with a consistent schedule. Our team starts the day a little before 8:30 a.m. and usually wraps up shortly after 5:00 p.m. You’ll be coordinating export shipments, working with freight forwarders and carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries, while also managing Accounts Receivable. A key part of the role is keeping customers on track with payments — following up firmly but politely, often by phone. Expect to divide your time between dispatching and paperwork, and maintaining Excel spreadsheets that track invoices, shipments, and outstanding balances. At times, you may help check selective inventories in the warehouse. (Stair climbing involved). Responsibilities: Handle dispatching for outgoing shipments from our Miami warehouses Schedule pickups/deliveries with freight forwarders and carriers Prepare and review invoices, packing lists, and export paperwork Follow up with customers on outstanding balances. Noe Valley Wine & Spirits is a small boutique wine, spirits and beer shop in San Francisco’s lovely Noe Valley. As a neighborhood shop, our goal is to provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge in a friendly, clean and well-organized environment. We sell what we think is the best in its category, and we like to have FUN! We specialize in French, Spanish and Italian wines, and the new world wines we carry tend to reflect our collective old world palate. We need someone 11am-7pm Tuesday-Saturday; Mondays we are closed. An occasional Sunday or two may be required over the holidays to ensure we have adequate staff coverage during these busier times. We are willing to look at candidates from within the industry with good wine/beer/spirits knowledge on a part-time basis. Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly, stock bottles and clean (dust, vacuum, wipe down glass surfaces regularly). Must be computer literate and be able to use a modern POS. Specific knowledge of Excel, Word, Affinity, Mail Chimp, and basic web maintenance a plus. Familiarity with major social media platforms and experience/skill writing copy for social media and the web desired. Wine, beer and spirits knowledge is required to be able to assist customers in selecting, purchasing and enjoying wine beer and spirits. A year or more of restaurant/wine/industry experience is a must or enrollment in wine education (WSET, CSW, Court of Masters, etc). Should be willing to take on multiple roles at the shop and able to participate in tasting and selecting product as a team.
