Become a Wine & Spirits Specialist - Experienced Candidates Also (Upper East Side)

Job Description: Wine & Spirits Specialist wanted for a prestigious Upper Eastside retailer. The incumbent will have regular weekly hours but also must be willing to work potentially late shifts on two or more of Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays. In this case, we a specifically looking someone with Sunday availability, but again we need at least 3 or 4 days in total. We are willing to consider both experienced and inexperienced candidates. Regardless of your experience level, you will learn a lot here. Job Tasks include: • Showing up on time and for all of your shifts, if you cannot handle that, do not apply, • Selling and making recommendations on the floor, • Answering phones and order fulfillment, • Generating inventory re-order lists • Assisting with stocking shelves and creating marketing displays, • Creating in-store advertising materials, • Posting POs and updating products in our POS, and • Various other tasks as directed by management. Job Requirements include: • Creating a friendly environment for customers, • General computer skills, • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple projects and priorities, • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate in a multicultural environment with all levels of employees and management, • A professional demeanor and appearance, • Ability to lift 40 pounds, and • Punctuality.
