Automotive Collision Estimator

This includes inspecting and testing vehicles using mechanical testing devices, visual inspections, and discussing concerns directly with customers. In this role, you will write estimates, communicate with clients throughout the repair process, and work closely with insurance carriers. Additional responsibilities include performing walk-arounds and check-ins with vehicle owners, completing supplements in coordination with technicians, and processing final paperwork—ensuring labor hours and parts pricing are accurate. You’ll also communicate with DRP partners and handle total loss evaluations. The Estimator prepares detailed, itemized work orders and is responsible for ensuring accuracy in the repair process, as well as handling all customer and insurance correspondence from start to finish. Your expertise is key in evaluating repairs and providing a high level of service and communication throughout the process. They typical schedule for an Estimator is Monday through Friday.
