About Us:
We are a growing marine and hillside access company specializing in the design and construction of inclined elevators. Our projects help homeowners, waterfront communities, and commercial clients gain safe, reliable access to steep terrain. We are looking for a motivated Project Manager to join our Poulsbo, WA team and lead complex builds from start to finish.
The Role:
As Project Manager, you’ll be the hub between our crews, engineers, vendors, and customers. You’ll oversee every phase of the job—from initial survey and design collaboration, through construction, to final customer walkthroughs. This role is hands-on, people-focused, process-driven, and safety-centered.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead team building efforts, fostering collaboration among engineers, surveyors, drafters, and field crews.
•Conduct and coordinate site surveys to determine layout, grading, and installation requirements.
•Collaborate with Drafting and Design teams, ensuring accurate plans and clear communication between design and build teams.
•Serve as the primary point of contact with customers, guiding them through timelines, approvals, and project updates.
•Develop and implement repeatable processes that improve efficiency, safety, and quality across projects.
•Monitor project budgets, schedules, and milestones to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
•Perform and document safety inspections of projects and finished products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company protocols.
•Travel throughout the Puget Sound region (Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.)
What We’re Looking For:
•Experience in construction project management (marine, hillside, or specialized access systems a plus).
•Strong background in surveying, drafting, or engineering coordination.
•High-level understanding of mechanical, geotechnical, and structural engineering principles.
•Applicant should have a strong sense of safety protocols, both in developing and implementing them across teams.
•Proven ability to build and lead effective teams in the field and office.
•Excellent customer communication skills with a service-first mindset.
•Highly organized, with the ability to create and refine workflows.
•Software skills: scheduling software (e.g., MS Project or similar), Excel, SolidWorks, and project management tools.
