About us: Our accounting/corporate office services 9 restaurants named Fiesta Mexicana in the 4 corner states including Arizona/Utah/New Mexico/and Colorado. We are a medium sized family owned business. Our company operates from a home office in the Village of Queen Creek neighborhood, it is not a corporate setting, so please do not be alarmed that it is in a neighborhood. What we are looking for: We are looking for a skilled Accountant/Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. Include working closely with our team to create and analyze financial reports. Ultimately, the employee's responsibilities are subject but not limited to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company, payroll, EFTPS reports, withholding's, quarterly reports, and more . Our office is a home office located in a neighborhood in the city of Queen Creek. Responsibilities: Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, supplier’s ledger, customer ledger and general ledger Bring the books to the trial balance stage Creating and updating P&Ls Creating and updating balance sheets Perform partial checks of the posting process. Enter data, maintain records and lunch reports and financial statements Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner. Assist with tax payments and returns. Preparing quarterly reports Processing payroll and payroll data Requirements: Proven bookkeeping experience Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software Customer service orientation and negotiation skills Restaurant bookkeeping experience High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Must have 5-8 yrs. QuickBooks Knowledge Reliably commute to Queen Creek, AZ.
