Our caregiving facility is looking for individuals who are caring, helpful and compassionate for our rapidly growing agency. We are looking for individuals who can provide healthcare for those who are not able to provide it for themselves. The ideal candidates for this position must be able to care for our clients with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect. Have a heart to serve and a positive attitude. Shifts Available: Monday- Sunday 8am to 3pm (Saturday and Sunday), 3pm to 10pm, and overnights Responsibilities • Companionship and conversation • Home assistance: light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, medication reminders, transportation to and from appointments, errands, and activities if needed • Personal services could include toileting, bathing, feeding,and grooming • Monitor and record goals and objectives with the consumer • Performs other duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications • Reliable and Dependable • Previous experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or home care environment (preferred) • A minimum of one year of professional experience as a caregiver or home health aide (preferred) • Valid Driver's License • Open availability strongly preferred • Eligible to work in the United States • CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CLEARANCE REQUIRED* Life Options serves La Mesa area and all of San Diego County.
