Essential Functions: Reassesses patient status after intervening as per training. Follows an individualized nursing plan of care. Coordinates patient care activities, when needed. Establishes priorities for patient care. Treats assigned patients based on acuity levels Correctly carries out the physician's plan of care. Accurately documents in the EMR. Documents care according to policy and procedures Initiates appropriate measures in emergency situations. Assists others with patient care activities when own assignment is completed. Participates in unit-based activities, including staff meetings. This job description is not all encompassing. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Must have One (1) year of experience as a CNA. WA DOH Active and unencumbered license. Completion, or ability to complete of WA DSHS approved AFH minimum qualifications. Must obtain BLS with AED certification within thirty (30) days of hire, if not already possessed. Must obtain current TB ppd, or gold top serum test within two (2) days of hire [2-step if never been done before]. Preferred Qualifications: Computer keyboarding skills preferred. Conveniently located off of Mill Plain and I-205 in Vancouver. We are looking for someone to work 1-2 shifts per week, with room for additional days, if/when available. This is a permanent and steady position. **Shifts are 24-hour shifts (7am -7am the next day with 8 hours of sleep at night). Again, these are 24-HOUR SHIFTS with 8 hours of sleep time during the night (we are a non-awake facility by contract which means residents sleep and so do you!) Pay is salary based at $320 per shift, once fully certified and after successfully passing a 60 day review. Time and a half holiday pay on major holidays and paid sick leave are included.
