Hiring in all Denver Metro Areas (Castlerock, Parker, Denver, Lakewood, Golden, Thornton, Westminster, Broomfield, Aurora, Englewood) Golden Harmony Home Health Pay: $30–$40 per visit Location: Metro Denver and Surrounding Areas About the Role: Golden Harmony Home Health is seeking skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our growing team. As an LPN, you will provide essential nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, supporting clients in their homes with curative, rehabilitative, palliative, and preventative care. Duties & Responsibilities: - Provide skilled nursing care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) - Perform selected nursing actions within your scope of practice to support client care - Provide wound care and follow physician/nurse instructions for dressing changes and treatment - Assist the RN in carrying out and evaluating the care plan - Observe, record, and report client symptoms, reactions, and changes in condition - Assist with specialized procedures under physician’s orders and RN direction - Help prepare, implement, and continuously evaluate the client care plan - Support rehabilitation efforts, encouraging clients’ independence and self-care - Provide for the emotional and physical comfort and safety of clients - Participate actively in team conferences, in-service training, and nursing organizations - Prepare progress notes and maintain accurate clinical documentation Treatments & Procedures (per training and regulations) Advanced LPNs with documented competency may also: - Administer medications - Start and manage peripheral IVs (premixed medications, hydration fluids) - Flush peripheral lines with saline or heparin - Inspect insertion sites, change dressings, and remove IV needles/catheters - Calculate and adjust flow rates - Assist with blood checks under RN supervision Qualifications: - Graduation from an accredited School of Practical Nursing - Active Colorado LPN license (in good standing) - Wound care experience required - Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital or home care setting (home care preferred) - Current CPR certification - Must pass a criminal background check - Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing Job Conditions - Must have reliable transportation to access client homes (may not be wheelchair accessible) - Ability to walk, sit, stoop, and stand for periods of time - Ability to lift, turn, and transfer clients as needed (minimal to maximum weight support) - Sufficient hearing, vision, and dexterity to perform nursing assessments and client care Equipment Operation: - Basic medical equipment (BP cuff, thermometer, stethoscope, IV equipment, wound care supplies, etc.) - Standard office equipment (calculator, multi-line phone, copier) Compensation & Benefits - $30–$40 per visit (based on assignment) - Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance - Supportive, family-like team environment - Ongoing training and in-service opportunities - Potential to transition to full-time as our agency grows Golden Harmony Home Health is dedicated to providing compassionate, reliable, and dignified care for clients in the Metro Denver area.
