RATE: $60 per hour - Behavior Consultant (BC-ABA) - must have active BSL SUMMARY: The Behavior Consultant (BC-ABA) is an independent contract position and a member of an interdisciplinary clinical team: BC-ABA needs throughout Delaware County, PA. BC-ABA clinicians may work during school, after-school, and evening hours depending on County program needs. Flexible scheduling for work/life balance! RESPONSIBILITIES: Write and monitor individual treatment plans for children diagnosed with behavioral and mental health disorders. These disorders include, but are not limited to: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD). Provide assistance in the development of adaptive skills in order for the diagnosed child to take a more positive role in the school, home & community setting. Provide prescribed behavioral consultation to the family and / or school. Train the Behavior Health Technician (BHT) on appropriate therapeutic interventions. Write Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA). Cases are typically authorized 2- 3 hours per week for each client's family based on medical necessity, and can build a caseload of multiple clients. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field Must have ABA coursework related to behavior theories, protocols, techniques Demonstrated work experience with children with ASD Supervisory experience - preferred CREDENTIALS: (Clearances within 12 months) PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance FBI Department of Human Service background clearance - Service code: 1KG738 TB screening - current within 3 months Professional Liability Insurance Behavior Specialist License - license must be active Benefits The Behavior Consultant / BC-ABA position is an independent contract (1099) position. We have a new opening for a Physical Therapist Assistant at the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton in San Diego, CA. Job Specific Responsibilities and Tasks: Duties may include but are not limited to: • Carry out a program of corrective exercise and treatment for assigned patients, as directed by the physical therapist. Under supervision, administer such treatment as exercise, gait training, massage, whirlpool, hot packs, diathermy, ultrasound, paraffin, ice packs and traction. Instruct patients on segments of the program including proper use of wheelchairs, crutches, braces, and prosthetic appliances and devices. • Administer traction to relieve neck and back pain, using intermittent and static traction equipment. Instruct, motivate, and assist patients to learn and improve functional activities. • Observe patients during treatments and compile and evaluate data on patients' responses to treatments and progress and report orally or in writing to the physical therapist. • Fit patients for, adjust, and train patients in the use and care of orthopedic braces, prostheses, and supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, walkers, and wheelchairs. • Confer with members of the physical therapy staff and other health team members, individually and in conference, to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programs. Coordinate with other departments and the clinic staff to provide complete care to patients.   Additional Duties: • Provide orientation, clinical direction and instruction to new physical therapy assistants and physical therapy aides. • Perform clerical duties, such as taking inventory, ordering supplies, answering telephone, taking messages, filling out forms, scheduling patients, and staffing the reception area.
