Position Overview: As an experienced expanded functions dental assistant, you will play a crucial role in our practice by assisting the dentist during procedures, ensuring the comfort of our patients, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You will utilize your expertise to provide top-notch chairside dentistry where you will perform dental x-rays, prepare dental materials, fabricate temporary restorations, and educate patients about treatment options all while working with latest technology inside of a comfortable, laid-back, and supportive work environment. Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures Take and record vital signs of patients Prepare and sterilize instruments Perform digital X-Rays and 3D scans as needed Provide chairside assistance for general dentistry and surgical procedures Discuss treatment options with patients when necessary Handle receptionist duties, such as scheduling, when necessary Requirements: (Applications must meet ALL of the requirements listed below to be considered.) Role: POSITION IS 32 or 40 HOURS WEEKLY The Social Worker plans, coordinates and manages social work services for frail older adults and caregivers of Elder Service Plan (ESP) within the community as part of Integrated Disciplinary Team (IDT). Requirements: • MSW from an accredited school of social work, LCSW or LICSW required, current BLS Certification required • 1 year of experience working with the frail elder population (paid or volunteer experience). • 2 years of professional experience of which 1 year was in providing direct behavioral health therapy to an adult population. • Basic skills for Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel and Outlook. • 2 or more years of geriatric experience preferred. • Experience with dementia care, substance abuse and end of life care preferred. • Critical thinking skills to problem solve individually and in a team setting • Bilingual a plus; English/Spanish or English/Haitian Creole.
