Maintaining a clean kitchen Type of food being cooked served on menu - Asian Fusion (Includes Beef & Brocoli, General Tso and more - American Bar Food (Includes Mini Sliders, Tacos, Wings and NY Strip Steak and more. - Cafeteria Food ( Avocado Toast, BLT, Breakfast Wraps, Etc) This involves washing dishes, cleaning equipment, and ensuring proper food storage. Following recipes and instructions: Cooks must be able to follow recipes and instructions precisely to ensure dishes are cooked to the correct specifications. Working in a fast-paced environment: Cooks often work in a fast-paced environment, requiring them to be able to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality. Maintaining a sanitary kitchen: Cooks must follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to prevent foodborne illnesses. Additional responsibilities may include: Assisting other cooks and chefs. Plating dishes and ensuring proper presentation. Operating various kitchen equipment, such as grills, ovens, and fryers. Directing or assisting food service workers. Filling out documentation and logs. Corporate cafe is looking for an experienced deli /grill person to make breakfast orders, sandwiches, salads, and paninis for catering orders, breakfast and lunch services. Must be very fast, friendly, and able to handle a high volume walk-in customers in a fast-paced environment. Must be very clean and understand proper safety and sanitation procedures. Must have at least AT LEAST 3 years of experience. Duties include but are not limited to - Helping co-workers with daily prep, Breakfast/lunch station / salads, deli meat prep, Assisting co-workers when needed with catering, Cleaning and sanitizing workstations and dining room, Must take part in managing daily routines with other co-workers. The cafe is open Monday - Friday. Hours are 6:30 am- 3:00 PM No nights no weekends. Operating hours are great opportunity to spend time with family.
