We are looking for a qualified and creative baker. Operative hours are early mornings 20 to 25 hours per week. Looking to fill this position with a creative and passionate experienced individual who will pay attention to detail. Take personal pride in their work and the capability to suggest new ideas for customizing a clients requests. Punctuality is always important but must be required. Ability to raise the caliber and presentation of any and all desserts. Must work well with our current pastry chef and other staff members. Must be able to complete tasks even under pressure in a very busy catering kitchen. Must carry a sense of urgency in order to meet different orders and schedules for clients. Must maintain a clean and organized work station. Must have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and always be respectful to the other coworkers in the kitchen. Duties and tasks include: Helping to create and construct desserts, including a variety of cookies, brownies, cupcakes, cornbreads, sheet cakes, puddings, biscuits etc. This is for an immediate position. $22.00 to $24.00 per hour to start D.O.E. Over 1,500 carved pumpkins are displayed creatively in throughout the trail and the large-scale sets are an audience draw. A similar event takes place at Naumkeag in Stockbridge. This event brought in over 21,000 people Long Hill in 2024.      Reporting to both the Property Director and Senior Regional Engagement Manager, the Signature Event Assistant, supports Long Hill’s event, Halloween on the Hill in a variety of areas. The Event Assistant tasks may include providing retail support, welcoming people to the property, checking visitors in, selling concessions, parking, and monitoring visitor safety.  The event runs October 3 – October 30, Wednesday through Sundays with the exception of the last week of October when the event is open daily Monday, October 27 – Thursday, October 30. Deliver a high level of hospitality & integrity, while providing a world-class experience, to help our members live well. Use prescribed cleaners to clean all surfaces (including but not limited to mirrors, tiles, stainless, toilets, carpets, showers, steam, sauna, and lockers). Quickly and effectively collect towels for laundry and ensure clean towels are adequately stocked in both the locker room and the Spa. Stock all supplies throughout the locker room (including but not limited to soaps, shampoos, conditioners, lotions, hairbrushes, Q-tips, tissues, toilet paper, and paper towels).
