Spenard Roadhouse is searching for an experienced, creative, professional PM Sous Chef.Must be available to work night and weekend shifts. Role/Responsibilities include:Working with Executive Chef, develop seasonal menu items and monthly specials and train team to execute. Manage the line, prep, and dish crew during dinner service. Create an excellent dining experience for our guests. Train new hires and coach the crew members on a continual basis. Conduct daily tastings and inspections for quality, consistency, and food safety. Ensure that all daily opening/closing duties are completed by the kitchen staff. Complete daily shift reports on operational and staff issues. Qualified candidates will have the following:Must have 5+ years experience cooking and working in high-volume kitchens. Experience in kitchen management/supervision preferred. Comfortable in a leadership role and able to work happily and effectively under pressure. Excellent communication skills.
