What You'll Do Deliver a Wow Guest Experience Lead daily service, greet guests, handle escalations, and ensure consistent, high-quality hospitality. Build & Lead a Winning Team Recruit, hire, train, and inspire servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers, runners, and barbacks. Coach performance and celebrate success. Drive Operational Excellence Oversee scheduling, labor costs, opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and compliance with health and alcohol service regulations. Boost Sales & Profitability Track key metrics (labor %, guest check averages, guest satisfaction) and implement initiatives to grow to-go beer sales, merchandise, loyalty club memberships, and private event bookings. Collaborate Across Departments Partner with the Kitchen Manager and Brewery team to coordinate menu changes, beer releases, and special events. What We're Looking For Proven success leading high-volume, full-service operations (brewpub, restaurant, or hospitality venue). Passion for hospitality and team development, with a hands-on leadership style. Strong skills in scheduling, cost control, and conflict resolution. Understanding of craft beer culture and alcohol service regulations (TIPS certification preferred). Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary: $65,000 $80,000 (commensurate with experience). Annual performance bonus tied to labor % and guest satisfaction. POSITION SUMMARY The Pastry Cook will coordinate and assist in the day to day operations of baking and pastry for the Copia Restaurant and Events/Banquets as necessary. Licenses / Certifications: California Food Handler s Certificate, or ability to obtain a certificate within 30 days of hire. REQUIRED SKILLS Demonstrated ability to show a high level of service responsiveness to customers. Experience in volume cookery. Excellent written, and verbal communication skills required. Must display a high level of energy and self-motivation. Demonstrated experience in effective communication that engages guests. WORKING CONDITIONS Must be available to work a flexible schedule including days, nights and weekends. Must be able to bend, reach and stand for a minimum of eight (8) hours daily. Must be able to lift and transport a minimum of fifty (50) pounds. Ability to withstand high ambient temperatures while working in close proximity of cooking equipment.
