All Souls Tortilleria Tortilla Bakery Crew COMPANY OVERVIEW All Souls Tortilleria is a Vermont-based food business using nixtamalization and stone-grinding to make delicious corn tortillas and fresh masa. We source organic corn for a high quality, nutrient-dense product. We also make fried chips and fresh flour tortillas in a separate bakery, also in the Old North End of Burlington. We believe in strong teamwork, clear communication, efficient processes, and being happy while making good healthy food. Each crew member needs to become proficient at each production step in the bakery, with the ability to move from one station to the next. This job requires working well with others in a hot environment and work days ranging from 6-10 hours. Employees must be able to lift 30 lbs regularly, must be punctual and detail-oriented. Experience in kitchens and familiarity with kitchen hygiene and sanitation protocols is preferred. PRODUCTION DUTIES COULD INCLUDE Prepping Work Space and Equipment and maintaining orderliness Grinding Masa and Making Dough Tortilla Oven Cook Tortilla Counting and Packaging Preparing finished Product for Order Fulfillment Cleaning WORK LOAD Currently All Souls Tortilleria is looking to hire Production Crew for 2-4 days a week (Monday, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and/or Thursdays) with potential to increase days and time in the future. COMPENSATION $18/hr or more depending on skills, prior experience, and job position. Base training pay of $18/hr for Production Crew initial training period.
