EARLY BAKERY CREW MEMBER (Bellingham)

Great Harvest Bread Co. is seeking an EARLY MORNING BAKER to join our crew! If you appreciate being part of a team and love the magic of made-from-scratch bread and sweets then this job might be perfect for you. We are looking for fast, energetic, hardworking, and organized people who love awesome food. Hours vary within 4:00 am-2:00 pm Monday-Saturday depending on shift Qualities we are looking for: Must have exacting attention to detail Must work efficiently both independently and as part of a fast-paced team Be comfortable producing food at a high volume A passion and desire to make quality baked goods Ability to work clean, fast, efficient, and safe A good mind for math A current WA food handler’s permit Must be over the age of 18 due to the federal safety laws surrounding some of the equipment we use. We will train, but 1-2 years experience in high volume baking, food prep, and/or cooking is preferred. PERKS: • We offer competitive wages with tips. • Sick pay is accrued at a rate of 1 hour for every 40 hours worked and eligibility starts 90 days from hire date. • A week of paid vacation with full-time hours after a year of full-time employment. • All employees receive an allowance of free loaves of bread, sweets, sandwiches, and other items each week.
