Join The Goose & Fern as a Full-Time Line Cook We are a small, passionate team seeking a dedicated Full-Time Line Cook to join our crew. You'll work alongside another cook, sharing prep and dish responsibilities, and helping us serve delicious food in a fast-paced environment. --- What We're Looking For: - Punctuality and excellent time management - Ability to thrive during busy service while maintaining quality and consistency - Strong teamwork and communication skills. - Prior professional kitchen experience - A collaborative peer who approaches the job with humility and grace, while knowing how to get down to business when things get busy. ---- Your Responsibilities: - Preparing and efficiently executing food orders - Monitoring and maintaining line inventory for smooth service - Performing prep work during downtime - Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace following all food safety protocols - Processing deliveries: unpacking, quality checking, and rotating stock - Collaborating with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service --- Requirements: - Ability to work on your feet in a hot kitchen for 8+hours a day - Ability to comfortably lift and carry large items (jugs of oil, stockpots of water) - Ability to bend, reach, twist, squat, and otherwise move yourself around a kitchen. - A want to stick around for awhile.
