Responsibilities and Initiatives To help NHF meet its growth goals, the Guest Services Associate will: Ensure safety and security of recuperative care facility. Conduct daily facility and equipment inspections. Conduct constant room checks throughout the day. Perform guest intake responsibilities, ensuring that all guests are greeted and provided with a detailed orientation of program guidelines, when applicable. Develop rapport with guests and garner guest feedback. Create, lead, and/or implement engagement activities with our guests, when applicable. Build rapport and trust with our guests through constant engagement and checking in. Attend to our guests’ requests. Must be flexible to adapt to schedule changes and/or work additional shifts to meet the needs of the facility, notwithstanding labor laws. Must model and project a positive professional image and adhere to the organization dress code. Perform additional assignments to meet the needs of the facility, notwithstanding primary responsibilities. Always follow NHF policies and procedures. Requirements Minimum 2 years caregiver experience in a Healthcare or Recuperative Care environment (preferred). Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks effectively and efficiently. Must be able to work a schedule with five (5) eight (8) hour shifts. Current BLS certification preferred, but not required. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, guests, and visitors. Bi-lingual in Spanish Preferred. TB test required. Fingerprint live scan /background required. Physical Requirements The duties as described will required standing and walking 90% of the time. The employee will frequently bend/stoop, squat, reach above the shoulders, twist, and turn, kneel, and push/pull. The employee will frequently be required to lift/pull/push/move up to 50 pounds. Must utilize conversational speech for effective verbal communication. Noise level is high in some client care areas. About the Role The Food Runner is responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately. Position Responsibilities Delivers completed cuisine to designated tables Supports wait staff by assisting them with delivery of food and retrieval of any supplies they may require Serves all customers according to established standards of quality Have knowledge of appropriate garnishes and sauces for each plate. Have full knowledge of table numbers, seat numbers and sections of the restaurant. Perform final quality check of all plates before delivery. Deliver all food items to the correct table in a timely manner. Know pivot points and seat numbers to deliver food without “auctioning” food. Provide guests with any items they request to complete their meal. Communicate with service staff/management any requests you cannot provide. Communicate with kitchen/management regarding any food related issues brought to your attention by the guest. Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned Essential Functions Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise and hectic environments.
