Barista/Customer Service (Wayne)

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and a love for coffee. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and inviting café environment. Your role will also involve managing cash handling responsibilities. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items with precision and care. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area Adhere to food safety standards and regulations during food handling and preparation. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, supplies, and other products. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Utilize basic math skills for cash handling, including processing payments and providing change accurately. Qualifications Previous barista experience or experience in the food industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety practices and food preparation techniques is essential. Basic math skills for cashiering duties, including retail math for managing transactions effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when necessary.
