We are a vibrant new restaurant celebrating the bold flavors, soulful spices, and rich culinary heritage of West Africa and the Caribbean. Our space is more than just a place to eat—it’s a cultural hub designed to bring people together through music, community, and unforgettable dining experiences. We are passionate about hospitality and are looking for a Floor Manager who shares that passion to join our opening team. Position Summary: As our Floor Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping the guest experience from day one. You’ll lead and inspire the front-of-house team, maintain high service standards, and ensure that our guests receive warm, attentive, and culturally-informed hospitality. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service Lead, train, and motivate FOH team members (hosts, servers, runners, bar staff, etc.) Act as the point person during service, resolving any issues with professionalism and care Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure consistent guest satisfaction Manage reservations and floor plans to optimize flow and maximize guest comfort Uphold and reinforce brand standards, from music and ambiance to dress code and guest engagement Support hiring and onboarding of new FOH staff Monitor inventory of FOH supplies and assist with ordering when necessary Promote a culture of respect, teamwork, and inclusivity Be knowledgeable and passionate about the menu, including ingredients, preparation, and cultural background Qualifications: 2+ years experience in a supervisory FOH role, preferably in a high-volume or culturally-driven concept Strong leadership and communication skills A genuine passion for hospitality, people, and culture Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and positive attitude Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Familiarity with West African and/or Caribbean cuisines is a strong plus Food handler certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) What We Offer: Opportunities for growth and advancement A creative, respectful, and energetic work environment The chance to be part of an opening team and build something unique How to Apply: Send your resume and a short note telling us why you're the perfect fit.
