Poggio Trattoria, an award-winning Italian restaurant located just north of the Golden Gate Bridge in sunny Sausalito, is looking for a fun, energetic full-time host or hostess to join our team. Job description includes: * Seating guests and handling inquiries from restaurant patrons * Working with OpenTable reservation platform * Answering incoming calls and checking messages * Making reservations on Opentable * Printing daily menus * Ensuring a welcoming feeling of hospitality to everyone who walks in our doors * Familiarity and ease with tablets and POS systems (we use Toast) is important and we will train you to be proficient * Must be able to multi-task and work well with the entire team. The host position manages all our delivery and takeout platforms, so significant tips are part of this position’s compensation. Hourly wage is $18 - $20 DOE and tips from servers and takeout can more than double the hourly wage. Free daily meals, discounted dining and health insurance benefits available for full-time employees. OpenTable experience is a big plus but a warm personality and a positive welcoming attitude are even more important.
